Interfood Slicing, part of the Interfood Group, has launched a new addition to the Weber slicing family: the 804.

Equipped with involute blade technology, the 804 enables increased cutting speeds in a mid-range machine.

Andre Clareboets, sales manager at Interfood Slicing, says: "Fast and accurate reloading is a fundamental requirement in high-speed slicing applications.

"The new 804 incorporates the latest generation of Weber central loading system, creating a true in-line operation that results in faster loading times, reduced disruption of natural irregular shaped products and the ability for the machine to 'self optimise' when changing over between different sized raw materials.

"Coupled with the option of a product bed capable of accepting product lengths up to 1,600mm, the 804 creates the perfect platform for line performance."

The machine, although ideal for cooked meats and cheese, can also be used for bacon slicing.

Clareboets says: "The opportunity to customise the slicing line to fit specific requirements is key. Stacking, shingling, wafer thin, interleaving and even circular or customer-specific designed portion shapes can be easily produced depending on the ancillary equipment selected."

Interfood says its downstream loading systems which incorporate buffering, grouping, in-feeding and the robotic pick and place systems from the Weber range integrate "perfectly" with the 804 "creating a complete solution from raw material to packaging machine".
