Halal poultry firm raises Euro standard
Dibs Distribution, a supplier of halal poultry products to the fast food industry, has obtained a EU food safety accreditation for its hygiene standards and can now trade in Europe.
According to hygiene manager, Ian Warburton, Dibs has worked with cleaning products supplier Ideal Manufacturing to get all the cleaning staff on site fully compliant with health and safety, control of substances hazardous to health and hazard analysis critical control point regulations to enable them the maintain standards.
Ideal recommended Stericell to clean and sanitise the floors in the processing area. High Foam Extra was said to be the most effective non-caustic detergent cleaner and sanitiser for conveyors, walls and processing equipment. This high-cling product is applied via mobile foamer, left for half an hour and then rinsed.
