The way to control chickens
Launched this year for today's data-driven poultry processing, the ChickSort system is capable of controlling multiple grading lines at speeds of up to and in excess of 15,000 birds an hour.
ChickSort md Paul Sykes says: "Processors can achieve a high level of control and information without having to buy a complete new packing room. ChickSort can be integrated with existing line equipment."
One factory manager using the system reports: "We are packing twice the chicken with the same number of staff as we were before we commissioned ChickSort and the remote browser interface allows me to assess how production is progressing against orders wherever I am at any time."
ChickSort has been designed to integrate with enterprise resource planning, business intelligence and manufacturing information systems.
