New general manager for Pidy UK
Robert Whittle has been appointed as UK general manager of the Belgian pastry specialist Pidy.
His brief is to double the company’s overall growth in the UK over a two year period which he plans to achieve through a rigorous programme of research and development and by introducing a number of new products to the British market.
Whittle joins the company following the sale of his own business - Foodafayre - which he formed in 1996 in order to sell filo pastry cups, tortilla baskets and associated products to major multiples/wholesalers around the UK as well as countries within Europe.
