Evolution Foods appoints technical and NPD manager

Shrewsbury-based Evolution Foods has appointed Dawn Taffinder​ as its new technical and new product development manager.

Taffinder has over 20 years experience in the food industry, having previously been at Country Harvest Natural Foods, Telford Foods and Dailycer. She joins the company from Julian Graves, where she was technical manager, responsible for managing specifications, quality assurance, customer and marketing technical information, legislation and labelling.

James Knott, who set up Evolution Foods in 2006, said: “Taffinder has unparalleled experience in this sector of the market, and we are delighted that she has joined the team. Her product knowledge and technical expertise will play an important role in the continued success of the company, and will help us to further expand both our branded range and our private-label contracts.”
