French baker PV France is relocating from Merseyside to a larger site in Anglesey, north Wales.

The firm, which makes French bread and patisserie products such as pain au chocolat for customers including Ryanair and Cafe Rouge, said it had outgrown its factory in Kirby, Merseyside.
Md Patrick Fery said: “We chose to locate in Anglesey because of the very good transport links to our markets, including those in Ireland where we have important customers. We also believe we can find the high quality workforce that we need to recruit.”
The move to the 2,322 sqm factory at Bryn Cefni Business Park, Llangefni, has been supported by a £1.2M grant from the Welsh Assembly, and will create 105 jobs. Future expansion plans to export products to Ireland and Sweden might lead to the creation of more jobs in the long-term, said Fery.
PV France produces par-baked, freeze dried and fresh bread and pastries using imported French ingredients and unbleached flour and stone bake and rotative ovens.
The firm has been based in Kirby since 2005 and has been looking for larger premises to meet growing demand.
