Pastries specialist Brioche Pasquier and Kavli, maker of spreadable cheeses, pâtés and dairy products, are using NFT Distribution's shared user network to manage daily deliveries to Marks & Spencer (M&S).

They are the latest in a line of more than 70 manufacturers and retailers to sign up to the service, which consolidates deliveries from several suppliers.

"We have a longstanding relationship with NFT, who already handle our deliveries to Tesco and Somerfield, so they were a natural partner for the primary distribution of goods to M&S," said Kim Bryan, supply chain manager at Kavli.

"The company's shared user network meets our exacting requirements for small variable but frequent deliveries. By consolidating goods through NFT's shared network we are also able to manage our costs effectively."

Michael Mary, logistics manager at Brioche Pasquier, said: "NFT offers a reliable 24 hour service and also handles our European-bound pallets, ensuring backloading to the port in the UK is maximised."
