No slip-ups for Chivas Regal

Drink manufacturers can have slip problems associated with spillages. Many, such as whisky maker Chivas Regal, have installed large sections of Floorline matting from Plastic Extruders to prevent slipping in wet areas.

The matting's construction is designed to prevent slipping and to create safe walkways and drier working areas. It will also protect glass bottles from damage if they are dropped.

Hardwearing Floorline is primarily used as a cushioned and economical floorcovering. It is impervious to liquids, acids, oils, and spillages which are all simply dissipated through the open grid and thereby increase safety underfoot. The soft tubular grid construction is particularly suitable where high slip resistance and hard wearing performance needs to be combined with cushioned comfort underfoot and insulation from cold floors.

Floorline can also incorporate a photoluminescent strip to denote emergency escape and safety routes when lighting fails.
