Meet the low-cost controller
A new range of units is available to improve the control capabilities of food and beverage processing machinery. The Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1400 controllers from Rockwell Automation are said to give better control at an affordable price.
The MicroLogix 1400 provides end users and machine builders with a higher input/output (I/O) count, faster high-speed counter and pulse train output, and improved network capabilities.
"Customer demand has shown the need for an affordable controller that provides a greater level of control and communication," says Seung Ju Lee, MicroLogix product manager for Rockwell Automation. "An embedded Ethernet port and two embedded serial ports with advanced communication protocols will give the customer a valuable solution."
