Kingspan Controlled Environments has moved to new facilities in Sherburn, North Yorkshire, to allow it to manufacture an improved insulation panel for temperature-controlled and hygiene-safe building applications.

The KS1100 CS panel is designed for both wall and ceiling use. The polyisocyanurate insulation core is both ecologically friendly and fire safe. The panels are approved by the Loss Prevention Certification Board and can now be manufactured with identification markings for complete traceability and peace of mind.

Excellent thermal performance is offered by the KS1100 CS panels. A thermal transmittance U-value as low as 0.11W/m²/K can be achieved with a panel thickness of 175mm.

This thickness of panel is also fire rated to 60 minutes.

A very low air-leakage rate of 0.5m³/m² further optimises energy efficiency, and KS1100 CS panels can maintain internal temperatures as low as -40°C.

The Kingspan Spectrum range of colours offers the environmental benefits of a proven organic coating in a selection of solid and metallic colours.
