Weigh labellers for poultry Sisters
The Two Sisters poultry processing plant at Morecambe has chosen AEW Delford Systems weigh price labellers and C Wrap labellers for its new packing lines.
Two Sisters has been supplying the multiples with steamed and roast chicken for many years, producing a range of pre-cooked whole birds and portions. Previously part of Tulip Foods, the site was acquired by the Two Sisters Group in 2007 and, since then, has undergone a major expansion programme and refit - increasing its three existing packing lines to five and installing all new wrappers, weigh price labellers and C labellers.
The installation consists of one high-speed 8100 weigh price labeller and four 8060 models with top and base labelling and C Labellers, networked to a single hub for programming and data management. The plant has also bought two AEW Delford G2200 check weighers for initial grading in the raw product section.
