Promotions aplenty at General Mills

General Mills has announced the promotion of four senior people within its global and UK businesses.

Linda Hipkiss​, General Mills UK’s marketing director for the past seven years, is appointed to vice president international marketing based in Minneapolis and will report to Peter Capell, the senior vice president for international marketing and sales, from September.UK finance director Richard Bouchier​ is promoted to European finance director, effective from August, reporting to Giuseppe D'Angelo, the senior vice president for Europe, Latin America and Africa.

Hipkiss will be succeeded at General Mills UK’s head office in Uxbridge, Middlesex, by Ed Culf​, currently commercial director of the company’s combined Jus-Rol and Saxby’s pastry business.

Meanwhile, Bouchier will be succeeded by Richard Arthurs​, who joins the UK team from the US where he is currently senior financial manager in the meals division.
