Chairmen re-elected at British Egg Product Association
Clive Frampton and Ian Jones have been re-elected as chairman and vice chairman, to lead the British Egg Product Association.
They will promote the concept of local sourcing to the food manufacturing industry, to encourage companies to reap the benefits of buying British Lion egg products.
Frampton said: “Many companies have already committed to buying British Lion egg products, which ensures that they are supporting British farmers, minimising food miles and getting egg products produced to a code of practice which minimises risk to their businesses.“We would very much like to see more companies in the industry follow the lead of the likes of McDonald's, Ginsters and Hilton Hotels in stipulating Lion Quality egg products."
