No mechanical seal, no leaks

A stainless-steel magnetic mixer/motor package for the food industries has been introduced by Advanced Engineering. The mixer is magnetically coupled to the motor so there is no mechanical seal, making the mixer leak free.

The Magnamix mixer is suitable for volumes ranging from 10 litres to 20,000 litres and comes complete with stainless steel motor and gearbox.

Being totally stainless steel, the Magnamix package offers the highest hygiene qualities and, because the motor is ingress protection rated to IP66, it can be cleaned by steam and high-pressure hose with chemicals. The mixing head is designed for self-cleaning as well as giving access to cleaning devices such as static sprayballs and rotary spray heads.

The Magnamix can provide gentle or vigorous mixing (variable speed) of liquids in liquids and solids in liquids.
