Lipid boss is on a mission
Lipid Nutrition's new boss wants to double the size of the business in three years - and bring two new products to market over the same period.
Katinka Abbenbroek, who became chief executive of the healthy fats firm on December 1, said the new ingredients were from a portfolio of "10 totally new products we have in the pipeline right now - they are all in different stages of the development funnel.
"Some could be launched next year, others will not be launched for seven years."
She added: "We're always looking for a unique intellectual property position.
"We have to protect what we do because we invest millions in research and development."
Abbenbroek succeeds former Lipid Nutrition chief executive Aat Visser, who retired at the end of 2006 after seven years at the helm of the business.
