Tate & Lyle logistics man heads up FTA
Andy Haines, head of logistics at Tate & Lyle Sugars Europe, is the new President of the Freight Transport Association (FTA), succeeding John Russell. Haines has been a vice president of FTA for the last 12 months.
Haines joined Tate & Lyle in 1979, and as an area manager for United Molasses looked after a number of trading and operational interests. In 1991 he moved to another Tate & Lyle division, United Storage as md. He took up his current role in 2001.
