Calling all packaging stars

Entries are now being invited for next year's Starpack packaging industry awards, which take place next May.

The awards will be presented on May 15, 2007 at the National Motorcycle Museum, close to the Birmingham NEC where the Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition 2007 is also taking place.

Winning packs in the Starpack Industry Awards 2007 will combine on-shelf impact, innovative design, environmental credentials, technical innovation and assist with marketing the product.

Categories include Best consumer pack - food and drink; Best innovation to reduce waste; and Best shelf-ready pack.

The deadline for receipt of entries is January 26.
