Quiche manufacturer Thomas Food Group (TFG) has appointed Emma Johnson as a process technologist.
Johnson joins the company as a graduate in food science and technology from Sheffield Hallam University. She will be based at TFG’s Thomas Food Partnership production facility in Sheffield and her appointment is linked to the Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) scheme.
KTPs are part-funded by the government and enable a business to work with a university, college or other research organisation to help with developing new products, services and processes.
Meanwhile, TFG has appointed Phil Milton as financial controller for its Meadowbrook Bakery factory in Milton Keynes. Milton joins the company from Hughes Communications, where he was a financial accountant.
