Dawn of a new age in Europe
Bakery products supplier Dawn Foods has appointed Jean-Francois Duquesne as its new senior vice president for Europe as part of its global expansion plans.
Duquesne, who for the last two years has held the position of president of Dawn Foods Canada, takes over from Karl Brown. Brown, who has headed up Dawn Foods Europe for the last 2.5 years and has seen the company through a period of rapid growth, has been promoted to vice president for global business services.
Duquesne will be based in Brussels but will spend much of his time at the Dawn facilities in both the UK and Holland.
Dawn Foods provide sweet bakery mixes, concentrates, icings, fillings and finished products for bakers and caterers.
