Sieve that screens as it blows
Sieve specialist Russell Finex will be showing its new Blow Thru Sieve for the first time in the UK. The separator has been designed and certified for use in pneumatic conveying lines. By combining screening and transportation in one machine, the sieve eliminates double handling and increases efficiency, enabling processors to screen material as they load or unload tankers or silos.
The machine allows users to check/screen powder during dilute-phase positive pressure conveying. This ensures that incoming ingredients or final products leaving a plant are free from any contamination.
The Blow Thru Sieve is a fully certified pressure vessel and meets international pressure equipment legislation.
It can be used up to a maximum pressure of two bar and is ideal for any bulk powder application where quality and efficiency are important.
The equipment can be assembled and dismantled using a simple tool for quick and easy cleaning between batches. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved materials and polished surface finishes are available for food applications.
