Specialist quiche manufacturer Thomas Food Group (TFG) has made two major appointments as part of its new growth strategy.
Steve Evans joins as operations director. Reporting directly to Mark Shepherd, the md of the group’s Meadowbrook Bakery in Milton Keynes, Evans will be involved in ensuring the efficient running of the facility and developing new operational procedures.
He joins TFG from Grampian Country Foods. Prior to then he worked with Manor Bakeries, giving him excellent knowledge of the bakery business and its operational systems.
Separately, Damian Breckenridge joins from seafood processor Macrae Food Group to manage the key Morrisons account. He had developed a good working relationship with Morrisons during his previous role and will be involved in expanding the quiche business through organic growth and the launch of new products.
TFG runs two dedicated quiche manufacturing operations - Thomas Food Partnership in Sheffield and Meadowbrook Bakery in Milton Keynes - supplying supermarket own-label products.
