Mouths open over bagger
Developed to meet the market demands for innovative open-mouth bagging systems, the Chrono-Fill PBS 500 was developed through a collaboration between Chronos Richardson Group and Premier Tech Systems.
The PBS 500 can be used for filling bags from five to 50kg with powders or granules at speeds of up to 700 bags/h. The complete system includes the weighing and dosing unit, bag placing, bag filling, bag closing and bag transportation modules.
At the heart of the PBS 500 is a light and fast bag transfer system. The increased reliability it provides helps to ensure that product contamination is eliminated from bag placing through to closing.
A simple design allows for efficient clean-out and in-built design flexibility allows quick and simple bag size changeover.
The system's compact layout requires minimum floor space and has a fully integrated programmable logic control system. As a consequence it can be installed quickly on site.
Competitively priced, and featuring optimised control, it is said to provide users with a fast return on their investment.
When combined with the innovative BFW bottom-up filler, the equipment meets the stringent hygiene requirements of the food industry.
