Dairy Farmers of Britain (DFB) has appointed Michael Cohen as marketing director.

Initially reporting to DFB’s group md Andrew Cooksey, Cohen will be responsible for all the group’s marketing, promotion and commercial advertising activity.

His appointment to this newly created position comes as DFB embarks on significant marketing investment to establish the Dairy Farmers of Britain brand as a major force in the UK dairy market as part of its objective to add value to its members’ milk.

With 11 years' marketing experience in a series of management roles, Cohen brings a wealth of FMCG knowledge to DFB.

Cohen, who began his career at Shell International in 1994, has worked in key roles with Unilever, Kellogg and most recently Marlow Foods, where he was responsible for marketing the Quorn brand.
