New UK md at Schwan's
Steve Freeman is returning to Schwan’s Consumer Brands in Leyland as its new managing director.
Previously European sales and marketing director at the company’s Marathon Place site, Freeman left Leyland at the end of 2004 to take up the role of senior vice president of Schwan’s Food Service Inc at the company’s corporate headquarters in Marshall, Minnesota.
After a successful assignment, he will now turn his attention back to Schwan’s UK business.
He said: "The markets in which we operate have seen many changes over the last two years and these changes have had significant impact on the whole food industry. We have adapted our business to meet these challenges and I look forward to working with my team as we develop strategies to drive future growth."
