Fage, manufacturer of premium brand Total Greek Yoghurt, has enlisted the help of top nutritional consultant Michael van Straten to endorse the brand as part of its healthy eating campaign for 2006. The consumer focused campaign will include the release of exclusive Healthy Eating Superfoods Plans developed by van Straten in addition to a news campaign of healthy eating and nutritional advice.
Tate & Lyle has recruited a dedicated account manager for food ingredients. Dariusz Wosko will manage Tate & Lyle's Polish food ingredients and liquid sweetener sales and will be based in Lublin, Poland. He will sell products including dextrose, modified starches, maltodextrines and glucose.
Puratos UK has made three new appointments to support its future growth in the bakery, patisserie and chocolate ingredients market. Pauline Ferrol joins the company to head up the artisans and distributor sales team. She previously worked for Coca-Cola Enterprises for 11 years in a number of business sectors. James Williams joins the team as business account manager and will drive business in the retail sector. At the same time, Bina Patel has joined the company in the new role of category marketing manager.
Manufacturer of meat protein products BHJ UK Protein Foods has strengthened its national sales team by appointing Paul Smith as account manager. He will be responsible for maintaining existing relationships and developing new business primarily in the South of England.
