Mettler puts weight behind inline and static hygiene protection

Mettler Toledo’s recently launched BBA scale range and Garvens S3 Shark checkweigher ensure manufacturers have the best equipment for both inline and static checkweighing processes.

The open design of the BBA platform ensures easy cleaning and prevents possible food traps and contamination. And with its IP69K protection, it is ideal for use in hygienically sensitive areas. It is also the world’s first IP69K scale that is capable of withstanding high pressure hosing and steam jet cleaning.

The machine’s design ensures breakdowns caused by moisture ingress are completely eliminated.

Constructed from stainless steel, the BBA line-up offers a weighing range of 3-600kg and is manufactured according to the recognised European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group, hazard analysis critical control point and good manufacturing practice requirements.

The S3 Shark checkweigher offers a stainless steel height adjustable frame to meet hygiene regulations. Its flexible design also allows the integration of additional equipment.
