Britvic is still running tests to establish why batches of Tango Cherry and Tango Fruit Fling were at risk of exploding from a build up of carbon dioxide.

Last month more than 100,000 cans of the fizzy drinks with best before dates of June and July 2006 were recalled after they were found to contain a naturally occurring yeast that could distort the can’s shape or cause it to burst.
