Good vibrations mean more accurate seasoning

Superior handling means less of the flavour drops off

Middlesex-based Wright Machinery has a new version of its On-Machine Seasoning System for use with its latest range of Flowright conveyors.

Designed for use when seasoning snacks, cereals or biscuits, the modular horizontal motion and vibratory conveyors are designed to provide superior handling, reducing both product degradation and flavour drop off.

The new designs also offer improved hygiene and require significantly reduced support structures.

Also included in the seasoning system is a Weighwright high accuracy weighing conveyor based on the vibratory principle. It provides mass flow measurement of the material to be flavoured, allowing the dose rate of powder or liquid additives to be adjusted in proportion.

The device operates to an accuracy of better than 1%, in turn allowing the On-Machine Seasoning System to work to a tolerance of better than ±0.30% when adding flavours and better than ±0.10% when adding salt.
