Business booms for filling and depositing kit

Business is booming for filling and depositing equipment supplier Turbo Systems. It has just received a repeat order from Cardiff-based Memory Lane Cakes, part of the Finsbury Food Group. Queen of Hearts, the Oxford-based baker of a range of sponges, chocolate cakes and other cakes chose the company when it wanted to upgrade and automate its systems. And ready meals producer RHM Frozen Foods has also bought a range of transfer pumps.

Memory Lane Cakes had been using four of Turbo's D150 depositors, a twin-lane conveyor and two batter pumps. The company now has a second system on order and is finalising on another one.

Queen of Hearts opted for a pair of D150 depositors with a single lane slat band conveyor fitted with a series of decorating heads to vary the filling and finish requirements. RHM Frozen Foods also purchased a range of VP100 transfer pumps to remove a manual transfer job.
