New spin on decanter repair services

Maintenance and repair of equipment is now being offered by Centriquip, which claims to be the largest manufacturer of decanter centrifuges in the UK.

"If your decanter centrifuge breaks down or requires servicing you need it back in service fast," says Centriquip's Neil Lacey."We can service it, repair it, and provide a 24-hour breakdown service no matter what make of equipment is being operated."

Service includes scroll repairs such as tip rebuild, re-flighting, and re-tiling, gearbox repairs, hydraulic 'rotodiff' repairs, and re-balancing.

On-site maintenance can also be undertaken using monitoring equipment to identify vibration and bearing temperatures, for example.

"Preventing unscheduled maintenance, avoiding unnecessary work, and predicting when servicing will be required are other areas in which Centriquip can help," says Lacey.

"Working within a service contract allows the history of a machine to be built up and service schedules adopted to meet its needs."
