Frozen potato company Cheviot Foods has teamed up with pizza company Schwan to create a range of coated wedges under the Chicago Town brand.
Launched this month, the companies have developed four varieties of wedges -- Cheese & Red Onion, Crusted Garlic & Herb, Jalapeno Chilli, and Cheesy Nacho. They are being positioned to accompany the Chicago Town range of pizzas for mealtimes but also as a snack to share with friends. They come in 750g bags with an rsp of £1.89.
"The potato wedge sector has grown substantially in the past few years. Chicago Town wedges will add to that growth," says Ian Lindsay, sales and marketing director at Cheviot.
