Unilever boxes clever
Unilever in the Netherlands has launched a range of five fresh Eastern ready meal kits under its Conimex brand.
Wokmenu is the first product from Unilever in the Netherlands in this market and uses the meal kit format, where ingredients are packed separately to maintain freshness and flavour and which are then cooked together by the consumer. The kits were designed to cater for the growing desire by the Dutch consumer to cook foods but still have the convenience of buying all the ingredients ready prepared.
The five meals take their inspiration from five Eastern countries. These are the India inspired Chicken Tikka Massala, Japanese Beef Terriyaki with Honey, Thailand Chicken Red Curry, Chinese Chicken in a Cantonese sauce and Chicken Bali with Coconut from Indonesia.
