Hygiene and weighing go together
With hygiene a major factor in the food industry, Scanvaegt's ScanCombinator 5400 multihead weigher series has been developed with this in mind.
Its 5400 series has hygienic features such as watertight closed leg construction, so that water and dirt can't hide in crevices inside the machine, and it has no plane surfaces to stop dirt from adhering. It consists of three different models equipped with either 10, 14 or 18 weighing heads, which can be easily dismounted for quick cleaning.
The weighers can be incorporated at the heart of a packaging line, as they can handle infeed, weighing and packing into almost any kind of packaging, or as stand-alone multihead weighers, for use with wet, individually quick frozen and dry products.
