Preying on the mid-range
Belgium cutting equipment specialist FAM has launched a new mid-size slicing machine to join its popular range of flexible dicers.
The Mantis is said to set new standards in machine hygiene and maintenance with fast-removal feed belts and lubricated-for-life bearings.
Available through UK agent Tritin, the Mantis lines up alongside the ILC-3D, the flagship of the range designed for use in high volume vegetable, salad, sandwich, cheese and meat processing. Its smaller brother Flexifam features a quick blade changeover aimed at processors that need to produce many different size cuts in a day.
Also available is the FV-2D for crisp potatoes and other root crops, the heavy duty CHS-2D for cheese shredding, and the Yarun high volume meat and poultry dicer and strip cutter.
