Fast track pans and kettles

A wide variety of brat pans, kettles and other specialist cookers are manufactured by BPT Skerman at its site at the former Brooklands racing circuit in Weybridge, Surrey.

The company's stainless steel brat pans come in a range of sizes and are designed for shallow frying, stewing, braising, poaching, boiling and griddling. They can be steam or electrically heated and be one- or two-way tilting.

BPT's Hy-Mix cook kettles comprise hemispherical vessels with a pressure jacket for steam and water. They feature an anchor-type mixer with scraper/side wipes for bulk movement and blending of product, heat transfer and to prevent product burn-on. They are also available with high speed rotor/ stator homogeniser units for the dispersion of powders or to emulsify liquids.

Hy-Mix can be supplied and used in conjunction with the Bro-Cool product cooling system, which provides batch cooling of up to 1,000kg of products typically from 95°C to 4°C in 50-120 minutes.

Bro-Cool is designed for vacuum loading and pressure discharge and is jacketed for glycol circulation and thermally insulated.
