Special K lines expand
Kellogg has launched a new wave of products as part of its seemingly relentless new product development drive.
After its recent launch of Special K Lite Bites the cereal giant has added two new lines under its Special K banner.
The first is a new variant of its popular cereal called Special K Yoghurty, which is a combination of original Special K flakes and yoghurt flakes and which joins Original, Red Berries and Peach & Apricot variants of the cereal.
Also launched is a Special K Apple & Pear bar, a yoghurt-coated bar containing rice, wheat flakes and pieces of apple and pear, and which contains only 90 calories.
In addition, the company has launched two other cereal bars that tie in with its cereals. These are a Crunchy Nut bar and a yoghurt variant of the company's original breakfast bar Nutri-Grain.
