Sleever International has entered into a joint project with a print specialist to develop digitally-produced labels and sleeves.
The project, with Digital Packaging, will produce small or test runs under the Digisleeve brand. Sleever International's partner is currently using the latest HP Indigo WS4000 digital press in beta trials, and the system will be officially launched at the Labelexpo exhibition in September.
Digital printing can be cost-effective for short runs of labels or sleeves, or where multiple variants are required.
It can also be used in the new product development process to generate realistic samples or product for market testing.
