Clean sheet for automatic dispensing in cold stores
"A leading Danish ice-cream manufacturer wanted an automatic sheet dispenser for palletisation at 20°C, but there simply wasn't a suitable solution on the market," says Preben Thomsen, sales manager at PAL-Cut.
"Together with the robot supplier, we have developed a solution that reduces the staffing level required and has a payback time of just 17 months."
The frost-optimised sheet dispenser is also equipped with special routines, components and heating devices, which ensure problem-free operation in cold store opertations, according to the company. It says the machine has been tested at temperatures as low as -20°C.
The machine ensures automatic dispensing of intermediate sheets in automated palletisation lines. It dispenses up to eight sheets a minute and can automatically cut sheets to all pallet sizes.
