An American firm is inviting its male customers to ‘make your meat look like meat’ with its launch of the world’s first bacon-flavoured condoms.

J&D’s Foods claimed its Bacon Condoms and Bacon Sunscreen both looked and tasted like bacon.

“Truly the new standard of animal-protein-themed prophylactics, Bacon Condoms are proudly made in America of the highest quality latex and rigorously tested to help ensure the utmost reliability and safety for when you’re makin’ bacon,” said the firm.

‘Generously coated’

It added that each Bacon Condom had been generously coated with “J&D’s baconlube, an ultra-premium bacon flavoured personal lubricant”.

The Seattle-based manufacturer claimed that science had shown 10 out of 10 people preferred the smell of bacon to coconut.

J&D’s Foods also manufactures other bacon-themed products including:  Bacon Salt, Bacon Rub, Baconnaise, BaconPOP, Baconlube, Bacon Lip Balm, Bacon Soda, Bacon Coffins and BaconAir.

Condoms – in numbers

  • 5bn – global annual sales
  • 450M – US annual sales
  • 9.99 – price in US $ for a pack of three
