Australian beef jerky is softer for European tastes
Australia's premium beef jerky and biltong producer Mariani Foods has launched a European brand of meat jerky called Legends. Mariani says this "new generation of beef jerky" is soft and easy to chew, unlike most of the harder jerkies available in the UK. The new range includes: Original, Bulgogi, Nice 'N' Spicy and Biltong
Mariani Foods md Don Nisbet says: "With the Legends brand we wanted to create a fresh new look for the UK and EU markets, which represents this new generation of softer beef jerky, whilst at the same time retaining Mariani's premium image, quality product offering and heritage."
Mariani has been producing premium jerky for over 30 years and supplying into the Australian, Asian and Middle Eastern markets. Legends 'soft' beef jerky is made from selected free-roaming grass-fed cattle suited to the Legends product and process. Only the finest cuts of premium beef are used, which are hand cut to ensure the right thickness and to enhance the authentic meaty flavour.
