Four months since the Food Manufacture Excellence Awards 2020 opened for entries, we can now proudly announce the shortlist of potential winners selected by our distinguished judges across 14 different categories.

The prestigious group of finalists was selected following rigorous online vetting and an intense, but hugely enjoyable face-to-face debate. Visit the awards website to see the full list.

Food and drink companies from across the UK – of every size and from every retail category – threw their hats into the ring. There were a host of heartening tales to tell about export, environmental and training initiatives, product and business development, improved efficiencies, teamwork and innovative use of technology. Judges were inspired and humbled by the wealth of talent on show, and arriving at final decisions proved exceptionally tough.

Business Leader Award

Alongside the award-winners selected by the judges, the recipient of the 2020 Business Leader Award, who is decided through online nomination, will also be revealed.

With the shortlist published, it’s time to seize the opportunity to hear first-hand who claims the hotly-contested finalist places. Book your seats and tables early before places sell out.

The theme of the 2020 celebrations is Rock of Ages, so brush up your air guitar performances and expect top power ballads. As always, this will be a night to remember.
