The UK’s only show dedicated to the laboratory industry has launched a new free networking tool to help visitors and exhibitors set up meetings in advance, in order to optimise their visit.

Lab Innovations, taking place at the NEC Birmingham on 30–31 October, will feature the Lab Connect online meeting planner for business to business meetings.

Now in its eighth year, the show features a broad array of laboratory equipment suppliers and manufacturers. Floor space for this year’s exhibition has increased by 10% compared to 2018.

Lab Connect’s free-to-use meetings service allows visitors and exhibitors to pre-book and schedule meetings on stands or in the dedicated on-site meetings lounge.

“Now, with so many laboratory companies and their products on show at Lab Innovations 2019, Lab Connect will enable visitors to make their visit even more productive,” said Lab Innovations divisional director Alison Willis.

“We are very aware how precious time out of the lab is, and this new service will add a new dimension to the networking opportunities for which Lab Innovation is already well known.”
