Costa launches At Home range in Tesco stores
Following successful launches in Asda, Ocado and Iceland, the At Home range includes two exclusive varieties for Tesco’s supermarkets, Brazilian blend Ristretto coffee and Costa Coffee Single Origin Colombian Character Roast.
The drinks are available in pods compatible with Dolce Gusto and Nespresso coffee making machines, as well as ground coffee for cafetière and filter and coffee beans.
Commenting on the launch, Costa master of Coffee Gennaro Pelliccia said: “The At Home range has gone from strength to strength, expanding from ground and beans to new encompass pods innovations, enabling coffee fans to be a barista in their own home and enjoy the same, handcrafted Costa Coffee taste.

“When we first introduced the At Home range in 2012, we could not have anticipated the staggering success we’ve experienced, and we are thrilled to welcome Costa Coffee’s great-tasting coffee in even more formats.”
Costa’s At Home range is available in Tesco stores now, with the Brazilian blend Ristretto coffee and Costa Coffee Single Origin Colombian Character Roast coming to supermarket shelves in September.
Meanwhile, coffee and tea merchant John Farrer & Co has chosen all-aluminium capsules for its first range of coffee pods after finding compostable bioplastics had failed to offer the necessary barrier while generating more complexity.
