Snacking brand The Primal Pantry has added a new multipack value offering to its range.

Designed to offer consumers a clear price point, the products come in packs of four with an recommended retail price of £2.50.

Suzie Walker, nutritionist and co-founder of The Primal Pantry, told Food Manufacture that the new additions were introduced to create a product with a price point that offered value to consumers.

“Price has become a major concern for shoppers and we wanted to provide a premium offering with a price point that suited household budgets, as well as standing out on-shelf. This range is perfect for families wanting healthy on-the-go food without breaking the bank.”

The range has been launched into Tesco with three variants: Lemon & Poppy Seed, Cocoa, and Coconut, with a fourth variant, Orange & Ginger, due to be launched later in 2019. The range will also be available in Ocado from March.

The new seed-based recipe is designed to be lunchbox friendly and the full range is registered by The Vegan Society, helping it target the growing trend for plant-based dieting.

“With a maximum of seven ingredients, these bars only contain real food ingredients, with no cheap fillers, additives or syrups used whatsoever,” added Walker.
