Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) – the globe’s largest independent Coca-Cola bottler – impressed the judges with the excellence of its rebranding of Coke Zero.
The business also demonstrated a firm commitment to environmental responsibilities – sourcing 100% of its electricity from renewables, while taking on more apprentices and supporting the progress of women in leadership roles.
In Great Britain, the company employs some 3,800 people across England, Scotland and Wales. An independent report in 2014 revealed CCEP brought nearly £2.4bn annually to the British economy, while supporting 34,500 jobs.
Total operational investment in GB has surpassed £400M in seven years, with a focus on the latest automation innovation in 2017. Around 97% of its products are made here, while 43% sold in GB are now zero or low-calorie.
