The Me and My Factory – Editor’s Choice Award for Clipper Teas was picked up on the awards night by site manager, Anthony Buckton.
Clipper Teas impressed the editorial team by the company’s commitment to increasing productivity and efficiency at its site in Beaminster, Dorset.
Achievements over the past 12 months included the daily implementation of lean manufacturing and the introduction of a company-wide data management programme.
Clipper has had a busy year upping operational efficiency through a new daily lean manufacturing regime and the installation of a data management program.
The next 12 months are also likely to be significant for the Beaminster-based organic tea specialist, as it moves into a new factory on its current site, further boosting efficiency and overall capacity.
The Food Manufacture editorial team also decided to make a highly commended award to Ramona’s Kitchen for the company’s amazing journey since it was founded more than a decade ago.
The award was picked up by the company’s founder Ramona Hazan on the evening.
