Willowbrook Foods is one of the nation’s largest vegetable and salad processors and located on the shores of Strangford Lough in Northern Ireland.
It impressed the judges with its double-digit turnover growth in recent years under the leadership of founder and md John McCann. Active across 10 categories and supplying 70 countries worldwide – including airlines – this is a business that is really going places, said the judges.
Turnover has risen from £21.2M in 2015 to £25M in 2016 and £28M in the latest financial year 2017, demonstrating 22% growth in turnover within the past year.
