The £50M-turnover speciality cheese business Norseland is taking on the competition and winning in world markets, achieving particular success in North America, Western Europe, and Asia.
Improving manufacturing efficiencies and replacing an outdated enterprise resource planning system helped the company achieve impressive progress in operation performance across its business.
Norseland supplies brands, such as Applewood, Mexicana, Ilchester and Five Counties, around the world as well as to UK supermarkets and foodservice outlets.
To ensure that the business continues to grow, Norseland has focused on gaining international exposure with Applewood, now sold in 13 countries; Mexicana, sold in 11 countries and Jarlsberg; sold in more than 20 countries.
