For applications requiring salting and curing, there is also a depositing system. This automates the hand salting and curing process for bacon, offering loss-in-weight depositing while maintaining quality and improving accuracy, says the company.
A central feature of the system is its Mag-drive technology with fully interchangeable beds (see picture above). By removing any exposed cables or motors/drives, contaminant entrapment is reduced.
Improved hygiene is further aided by simple cleaning and maintenance, helped by easy access for inspection of the equipment.
The grading system is designed to work at speeds of up to 200 parts per minute, thus maximising efficiency and cost savings.
Its all-electric operation means it has no need for compressed air and, therefore, is cheaper to run. A further option is live data collection software to provide batch statistical data from the weigh station.
