Nutrition book: explores the economics of nutrition and malnutrition
The nutrition challenges common to all societies worldwide have been laid out in a new book by DSM and nutrition think tank Sight and Life Foundation.

Good Nutrition: Perspectives for the 21st Century argues that the case for good nutrition for all people, in all parts of the globe and throughout the entire lifecycle, is growing stronger.

Evidence-based approaches

It explores the economics of nutrition and malnutrition and discusses a wide range of tried and tested, evidence-based approaches and interventions that can improve the nutritional status of the general population as well as at-risk groups.

Experts from a variety of organisations have contributed insights on topics such as consumer food choices to ensuring good nutrition for vulnerable population groups.

The book builds on The Road to Good Nutrition – winner of a British Medical Association Annual Medical Book Award.
